“IMPLANTS for LIFE”

Lecture Information:
Currently practicing at The Implant Center of Brooklyn and Long Island. Dr. Robert Mikhli is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He received a BA in Economics at Yeshiva University, and went on to study at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where he was awarded his DDS. He furthered his training with a General Practice Residency at New York Hospital of Queens. Dr Mikhli continued at NYHQ for a fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/ Implantology.  He is a member of the ADA, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologist. He will be presenting a lecture on Implants that will cover such topics as: patient selection, home care and hygiene and avoidance of treatment complications.

Course Outline and Objective:
Ensuring long term success of your patients implants requires a complete approach. Every patients unique situation dictates that a personalized plan is needed to help maximize function, from selection of the patient themselves to follow-up care. As with any procedure, a skipped or missing step can seriously compromise the outcome. By thinking and planning for the life of the implant we can help our patients get the most out of their investment, increase our own implant success rates and ensure that our practice is receiving positive recommendations and referrals.
